Dr. Craig Mines
Do better than the best you can…
In the words of his bowtie-clad mentors and professors in medical school, “Do the best you can for your patients prior to surgery, then do even better when it comes to the surgery.”
Dr. Craig Mines
Dr. Craig Mines lives up to his mentors’ expectations every day by giving the local Gwinnett County and his patients his full care and attention. Specializing in orthopedic surgery and backed by his years of technical knowledge and expertise in orthopedic care, your health and needs are in excellent hands.
From checking your newborn’s hip to wishing great grandma Lucy, “Happy 97th Birthday!” (while evaluating her hip arthritis), Eastside Orthocare is all about family first.
We gladly open our doors to both children or those with general orthopedic issues and fractures. Dr. Mines also makes himself available to patients at the pediatric and adult emergency rooms at the local area hospitals.
Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery for the past decade, Dr. Mines is an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He also stays connected to the local, regional, and national orthopedic community and frequently participates in national educational events.
Living a few minutes away from local area hospitals and his practice in Snellville, Dr. Mines has been the volunteer team physician for students and athletes at South Gwinnett High School. He has also served as the medical director for the largest Atlanta Youth Hockey organization.
Lytle Brown, PA-C
Lytle is originally from Knoxville, TN. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in Biochemistry he attended South College where he earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. While there he met his wife Lindsey, with whom he has three children. After deciding they wanted to be closer to family, they found a home here in Snellville, Georgia. He began working at Eastside Orthocare in 2013. He loves the opportunity to work here because they have come to be his family and will treat everyone who walks through the door as though they are family as well. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, being a spectator, and sometimes a coach, at the many activities and sports that his children participate in.
Always Here for You and Them
At Eastside Orthocare, each and every one of our patients are treated like family. Your journey to improving your health or injury starts here. Don’t be shy – welcome to our family.
